"ASSORTED BOOK SIGNAGE"

The store's GM noticed that books sold much better when themed displays had explanatory signage. These are some of the signs.

Signage for a children's book display.

Funt Fact: The fine print at the bottom was original more descriptive, but didn't make it past the censors. My original copy was something like "*excludes kids who pranked 911, pooped in the ficus, and/or rode the neighbor's yellow lab, causing irreperable spinal damage."

(If you've already seen the chalkboard displays, then you know that I have an affinity for misquoting James Madison.)

This sign -  for a display of books written by and/or about strong, independent females -  was stolen twice, before the display was moved within sightlines of the register.

Here's a picture of it in its final resting place.
