    BACKGROUND:

    • A streak of white paint blocks out the minimal shape of a cassette tape 

    • inspired by Erased de Kooning by Robert Rauschenberg, in which the young artist presented a blank paper from which he had erased a sketch by the well respected artist Willem de Kooning. (His argument being that the destruction of art was, in itself, a creation - which Eminem follows, albeit much more aggressively and with more hostility intended.)
